Last November and during 15 days, local and foreign teams and organizations shared life and work in villages of L'Empordà (L'Escala, Verges and Ventalló), working in coworking spaces, cafes and lodging in a set of empty houses or with available accommodation. During the day each team worked on their projects in the L'Escala Coworking and Creative Space, coffee bars and hotel terraces on the the seaside.
At the end of each day (from 7pm to 9pm), two workshops or lectures were held on topics such as #Coliving, #Cohousing, #Coworking Rural and rural incubation, social use #Blockchain, #Turisme collaborative, #SmartVillage & #SmartTowns , #CollaborativeBudgets, Self-Organized Teams, and #Teal Organizations, #Participacionciudadana, #PlatformCoops, alternative learning models, amongst others. One of each daily workshop was be facilitated by a local team and the other by a newcomer team.
On weekends we discovered immersive discovery experiences, hot spots and historic settlements that make Empordà the authentic region it is. A great opportunity to test new products or services and to connect with local and international businesses.
Who will be there find?
- A myriad of startup teams and creative entrepreneurs already living in Empordà
- Teams or founders and / or members of distributed organizations working in their team retreats or product sprints
- Startup teams that live in cities around who feel curious to try out how does it feel to live and work for a while in a village with other national and international interesting people.
